Cyrus Hotel, located at the center of downtown Topeka and blocks from the capitol building, represents the first upscale independent hotel in Topeka. Set to open in Fall 2018, the hotel combines prominent historic buildings with a modern new build tower and will include a flagship ground floor restaurant and bar as well as top of market meeting and event space. The 109 thoughtfully designed rooms and suites combine old world charm with modern amenities.
Cryus Hotel is named after Cyrus K. Holliday, the man who literally put Topeka on the map and built one of our nation’s first transcontinental railroads. The earthy palette of the hotel is inspired by the prairie landscape he loved and striking patterns (derived from his military career) modernize the hotel’s style with unconventional patterns and forms.
